Well a year has passed

He is just about walking. He stands by himself very well for short amounts of time until he realizes it and then he stops.

We have been so blessed to have this little boy come into our life. He is such a joy and a very easy going baby. We love him and can't imagine our family without him:)

11 Months

Yesterday Matt was 11 months old and he celebrated by standing 5 seconds on his own no prompting from me or anything he stood up with the laundry basket and just let go. By 1 year I am afraid he is going to be running.

Yesterday Sam came running into me crying. I couldn't figure out what was wrong then here comes Matt crawling behind her. He was chasing her trying to attack her. Oh man it has already started, she better learn to fight back:)

Big Boy

Grant and I were cooking dinner last night I turned around to check on the kids and couldn't find Matt. He had crawled from our Kitchen which is on the west side of our house to our bedroom which is on the east side of our house. Watch out!!!! He is definitely mobile:( They grow up way too fast.

Growing up

This week Matt learned to crawl on all 4's and go back to the sitting position. He also has been going to his knees and pulling himself up. Why can't he just learn to do one a week? AGHHHH they grow up so dang fast.

9 Months

TOMORROW.....I can't believe it where did time go? To celebrate he broke a tooth through. Now he has two big chompers:)

Sitting up

Well Matt has been sitting up for a couple of weeks really well. We would always get him to try and he would fall immediately forward. One day I put a toy up for him to play with and he never fell over. Come to find out he could sit up for we don't know how long he was falling forward to eat his toes.... Silly bulldog boy. (bulldog is his nickname if you look at some of his pics when he sticks out his bottom lip he gets jowls like a bulldog)

Grant takes him during church and yesterday we both got to nursery about the same time to pick Sam up and Matt got so excited he about jumped out of Grants arms for me. He wiggles and moves so much when he gets excited and then starts screaming.

He stands up and goes over Sam's shoulders he is growing so big and is wearing 12 months clothing; on some things he and Sam will be sharing before too long:)

Santa and the snow found us:)

Our entry into our house. I guess this is what it feels like to be snowed in your own house. Snow is taller than Sam.



See Santa even left snow foot prints on the carpet. Oh and if you go in close enough you can see that Santa won't wait until Christmas eve to put presents together again. There were parts missing on the Kitchen set and so it has no doors.

8 Months

Wow can't believe he is 8 months already. And he had a tooth break through last night.
